Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund
*Update February 2017* The CEMRLF will announce the next request for applications later this year. The application is currently unavailable.
Manufacturing is a critical industry in Wisconsin. Wisconsin was the only state in the nation to use its SEP-ARRA funds to exclusively benefit manufacturers. Twenty loans made through this award now comprise a $38 million Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund for working capital and equipment.
Wisconsinís Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund (CEMRLF), a program jointly managed by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), makes low interest financing available to private companies to invest in energy efficiency and waste reduction projects.
Wisconsin's CEMRLF will target Wisconsin manufacturers increasing energy efficiency through the reduction of industrial or manufacturing facility use of fossil fuels, eliminating or reducing waste products through conversion to feedstock for energy production, or producing biogas. Private sector businesses are eligible for low-interest loans from the CEMRLF.
